Erin Halbrecht
Erin Halbrecht joined Sorenson in 2023 and leads the firm’s Platform and Operations initiatives. Within Platform, she focuses on building Sorenson’s brand through digital marketing, design, events, communications, and content. She also supports the firm’s portfolio companies’ growth to becoming enduring businesses. Within Operations, Erin is passionate about the employee experience and works closely with the Partnership to drive the firm’s internal operations and processes.
Bio
Erin brings years of experience in venture capital, most recently on the Marketing and Platform team at Bessemer Venture Partners and, prior to that, on the venture capital Operations and Marketing team at Mubadala, a sovereign wealth fund of Abu Dhabi.
Outside of work, you can find Erin staying active, whether trekking up the hills of San Francisco, skiing powder in the Rockies, scuba diving with unique sea creatures, or taking Pilates and yoga classes. She also enjoys experiencing different cultures, whether it be popping into unique restaurants or traveling to foreign destinations.
Erin’s love for the start-up ecosystem stems from her time at Mount Holyoke College, where she earned a dual bachelor of arts degree in Entrepreneurship and Environmental Science.
