Ron Mika
Ron Mika is a partner on Sorenson’s Growth team, which he co-founded in 2002. Ron brings nearly three decades of investing experience and has survived three major economic downturns. His background in engineering inspires a natural analytical outlook toward “cracking the case” for challenging issues faced by management teams. Ron loves the outdoors, and all this earth has to offer. He is passionate about higher and elementary education, youth life-learning and development, and local hunger abatement causes.
Bio
Before co-founding Sorenson, Ron spent 13 years at Bain Capital, where he was a managing director and completed primary and add-on transactions in manufacturing, distribution, automotive, chemicals, consumer products, and retail, among others. Before joining Bain Capital, Ron was a consultant at Bain & Company.
Ron earned an MBA with honors from the Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Brigham Young University.
