Pictures of what my toddler is doing and learning that day. They usually give me a giggle, a smile, and a reminder to do my best.

Sam McBride joined Sorenson Capital in 2025 as a Senior Associate on the Investor Relations team and focuses on fundraising and investor relations. He is passionate about creating meaningful connections between innovative companies and sophisticated investors.
Prior to joining Sorenson Capital, Sam spent four years at Portfolio Advisors, a global private asset manager specializing in the U.S. middle market. At Portfolio Advisors he helped launch and scale several private markets solutions, including an innovative retail-focused fund. His experience spans product development, investor relations, and operational strategy, giving him a unique perspective on building and maintaining strong relationships with institutional partners.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University. He is conversational in Spanish and enjoys baseball, golf, and cooking for his young family in his free time.
