Luke Sorenson

Luke Sorenson is a managing partner at Sorenson Capital and has been with the firm from its earliest days. Luke’s investment experience spans a wide range of disciplines, from aerospace to technology, consumer, and manufacturing. Luke believes that the best companies are driven by great people doing transformative things and is focused on making Sorenson Capital an attractive partner to entrepreneurs that share this vision. Luke is also a passionate advocate for social impact investing, serving on the board for the Sorenson Impact Foundation and Cause for Hope – One Life at a Time, a non-profit devoted to enabling sustainable self-reliance in emerging countries.

Bio

Prior to Sorenson Capital, Luke worked at various Sorenson-family companies (unaffiliated with Sorenson Capital), including Sorenson Development (real estate development), and the world’s leading video relay service company, Sorenson Communications. He counts his time working under the tutelage of his father and grandfather, both serial entrepreneurs, as his most valuable education.

Luke received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brigham Young University.
